Вроде бы захотели снимать фильм по их "культовому" комиксу о некой "Wonder Woman" (я так понял, что это вроде Бэтмена или Супермэна, только женщина). Причем снимать будет Warner Bros., продюсером выступает Joel Silver ("Матрицу" продюсировал), тоесть это будет супер-пупер-мегаблокбастер.
Вроде, предположительно на главную роль планировали Сандру Баллок, но у той чего то неклеится и поэтому поиск актрисы продолжается, и наряду со многими, рассматривается кандидатура Люси Лоулесс и к ней многие склоняются.
Правда, пишут, продюсеры боятся, что она в этой роли все равно будет ассоциироваться с Зеной, да и вроде 34 года - это много уже для Wonder Woman, но с другой стороны, фаны этих комиксов хотели бы видеть Люську, потому что "she's tall, sexy and knows how to kick ass hard-good qualities for Wonder Woman"

"The Daily Star, as quoted by the UK website Popcorn, has reported that Mariah Carey has been offered the role of Diana Prince / Wonder Woman in the film Joel Silver is producing. A "friend" of Carey's is quoted as saying: "She's delighted to have been offered the role of Wonder Woman. She likes fun films as she has a great sense of humor, so a role like this would suit her better than a serious one."
Oh, great. That's just the attitude this film needs. Carey made her acting debut last year in The Bachelor and has recently been starring in All That Glitters, a drama set in the New York club scene that co-stars Max Beesley and Da Brat. Wonder Woman would be her first fantasy-oriented film.
Before all of the comics fans out there (or even the fans of the Lynda Carter '70's television series) begin to wretch uncontrollably, FilmForce has learned that another actress has been considered for the role. None other than the warrior princess herself, Lucy Lawless.
A source involved with the production had no comment on the Mariah Carey story (unless you count a guttural groan as a comment) but did mention that Lawless had been considered. "She would be the perfect Wonder Woman," our source said. "She's got the look and could definitely pull it off without looking like an idiot."
No comment from Lawless' agent, but the timing would be perfect. With Xena: Warrior Princess wrapping production this season, Lawless has been looking at feature projects that could start after a short break from the daily grind of a television series"
